Designed as an intermittent-duty device suitable for initiating contact, this product incorporates an internal spike suppression diode. It has the capacity to illuminate a ‘Starter Engaged’ indicator on the instrument panel. Equipped with a robust electro-magnet, it ensures reliable operation without sticking. Power is supplied to the contactor’s coil through the ‘S’ terminal (10-32 thread), with grounding facilitated by the mounting base. In instances where mounting occurs on a non-grounded surface, it is recommended to include a 20 AWG jumper from the base mounting screw to the firewall ground.
