RED insulated 22-18awg crimp Knife splice disconnect Terminal.
These terminals are for stranded Tefzel type aircraft wires.
The RED color of the insulation indicates the 22-18awg wire size.
The funnel entry feature allows wire insertion without “turned back” wire strands.
The terminals are temperature rated for use from -40 to +105°C & rated for 300 volts.
Knife splices are used in circuits that may need to be disconnected infrequently. They work well in tight spaces where use of a connector would be awkward. You should allow an extra wire (about 4 inches) to open & close the splice assembly. The extra wire and splice assembly can be neatly tied to a bundle if need be. The splice assembly will need to be insulated.
1/4″ 2:1 heat shrink tubing can be used over a Knife splice assembly.
Use SAT-001 crimper with SAT-030 crimper dies to crimp these terminals.
Terminals are sold individually.
