Aircraft quality wire is manufactured to MIL-W-22759/16 specs. It features standard tin-plated copper conductor with Tefzel insulation.
Black wire. 22 gauge. We commonly use black wire for ground wires. We use red wire for power wires.
22awg Tefzel wire is rated for 5 amps.
