Description
This black silicone splicing tape is a great tool to have on your bench. It allows for higher thermal conductivity which allows for cooler splices. The rubber slicing tape can be highly elongated. The more stretch, the less chance of voids. Even when highly elongated, it doesn’t lose its electrical characteristics.
This thick tape is also provides a tension relief for wire harness. Use it under connector & cable clamps to protect & secure wires. We’ve been using this for years and it is our favorite tape for this work.
